The Great Courses Live and Learn Series

The Games We Play will be the course that begins the 2012 Live and Learn Series sponsored by the Community Enrichment Alliance (CEA).

Modern game theory appears in every aspect of our lives and underlies all the ways we compete or cooperate with one another.  Haven’t you questioned the “skills” employed by government to make decisions or the “moves” that corporations use to score contracts or perhaps what prompts your own decision making process?

The class material explores the science revealed through the “games” that are at play when some of the most profound decisions are made within business, the military and even international diplomacy.

The 12 sessions on DVD are taught by award winning Professor Scott Stevens of James Madison University who has been described as witty, amiable and passionately knowledgeable.  Class will begin Wednesday, January 4 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Beach Club.  Cost is $20.00 single and $32.00 a couple and includes materials and refreshments.  You may enroll online at www.ceainfo.org or if you have questions, call Mary Stuart @ 437-8140.
